Webplacing has been managing PPC accounts with great success for many years as one of the most established companies of our kind, transforming the fortunes of our clients and, in many cases, introducing them to a model of internet marketing that has subsequently revolutionised their whole marketing strategy.

Illustrated below are some totally genuine examples of clients we have carried out pay per click campaign work for. Please note that company names are withheld in respect of non-disclosure agreements with all of our clients:

Client A: Ski Tour Operator

  • Client A previously managed their PPC accounts in-house
  • They came to us at Webplacing in need of substantially more visitors, and also because they were performing poorly in ‘organic’ listings in what is an extremely competitive market
  • We took over their accounts, immediately identified problems and so completely overhauled their PPC accounts  
  • Within just two days of Webplacing launching these approved accounts our client was delighted to report that visitors to their website had increased by over 400%!

Client B: Travel Agency

  • Client B was a new company trying hard to break into a very competitive market, so came to Webplacing for help - but with a limited marketing budget
  • Following extensive keyword research, we compiled a list of very specific search terms to bid on. Our initial strategy was to choose more unusual, and therefore less popular and less expensive keywords and keyword phrases
  • With a low budget, Webplacing was able to build up traffic, and hence conversions, allowing our client to steadily increase their budget and so start competing on more expensive keywords.

Client C: Online Hotel Bookings

  • Client C previously managed PPC campaigns that had been set up for them by their PPC suppliers. They came to Webplacing because, although they were getting traffic and spending money, they were not converting
  • We reviewed their existing accounts, immediately seeing that they had been led into bidding on lots of irrelevant terms with no optimised adverts
  • We carried out extensive keyword research, which we used to refine the terms they were bidding on
  • From this point, we tracked traffic to their website to analyse the keywords that converted into sales
  • Our client saw an immediate and dramatic improvement in conversions and reduction in spend. The client was extremely happy about this - his cost per conversion had gone down, and his ROI had gone up!

Client D: Racecourse

  • Client D is a racecourse that was looking to hire out their main function room as a venue for Christmas parties
  • Webplacing advised Client D to invest a small amount of their marketing budget in a special, custom-made PPC campaign with a very specific short-term aim
  • We set up a PPC campaign with Google AdWords that was tailored to display our client’s advertisements only in the immediate area of and agreed radius of the racecourse. This is known as Geo-Targeting (as in ‘geographical’), where PPC ads can be explicitly targeted at the users in one particular region
  • The advertisement appeared on Google AdWords on the same day we became involved with this client
  • This was a specifically seasonal PPC campaign, and so a low spend for the client, with a maximum ROI
  • As a direct result of online enquiries, the racecourse venue was fully booked for the entire Christmas period; our client was understandably delighted!  

Client E: Small Independent Travel Agency

  • Client E had historically only advertised in the traditional print media, and never considered online advertising of any kind until they learned about what Webplacing could do for them
  • We persuaded them in the first instance to put a small amount of money into PPC, the impressive deciding factor for this client being when we informed them that this marketing model was so sophisticated that we could even tell them, by our using tracking, where their customers were coming from
  • The resultant campaign was such a resounding success that Client E totally altered the way they marketed themselves from this point on, reverting almost exclusively to PPC campaigns with us!
